This below grade patio area had an existing sump pump Over time, frost heave had altered the grade so that the sub-pump basin was now a high spot. Water pooled on the opposite side of the patio rather than enter the basin. There was also an existing separate drain going to an older dry-well system. Affordable Lawn and Home Care was asked to repair the brick paver patio so that water would enter the basin and be ejected by the sump pump.
